  • Motion blur for changing geometry by v Attribute (forced)

    Hi everybody,

Is there a way to force V-Ray to calculate Motion Blur by using the v attribute, instead of sampling the geometry?

I didn't find an option to force it and as far as I can see, this is only done for particles automaticaly.

An example case would be when you merge in geometry in a simulation. Currently this produces incorrect results with defaults.

Or is there maybe another way?

    Cheers,

Hello Aleksej Skrypnik , yes you can use v attribute for calculating velocity blur. Just need to switch "Geometry Velocity Blur" to "Velocity Blur" in geoObject > Render tab> Sampling sub-tab
