  • (Done) [HOU-3651] Hair thickness multiplier

    Hi guys,

We don't currenly (vray6) have a hair thickness multiplier in the shader, right? It used to be an 'object' level parameter, now in USD is there a primvar or something we can set? Ideally it would be on the shader though, thickness manipulation is very important for lighting people. Primvar would be ok too

    Thanks

    1. There is a dedicated section for Solaris / USD: https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray...ni-solaris-usd

    We don't have, neither in V-Ray 5 nor in V-Ray 6.

    No, this is not possible.

    > Primvar would be ok

It's doable with "Render Geometry Settings", yes.

      Hey glacierise ,

Starting with tomorrow's nightly builds, the "Width Mult." option will be available in the Render Geometry Settings LOP -> V-Ray tab -> Hair tab.

      Best regards!
