The curves are currently creating over 1.0 values and mostly likely also negative values.....This is most likely how you meat it to work so you can use this curves on inputs with values over 1.0 (HDRI images for example).
But for most cases, and specially on noises, if someone is clamping it, they expect flat white and black plateaus. Can we get this curves clamped by default, or at least a check box on this curves to automaticall clamp the values? Would save us quite a bit of clamp nodes, and mostly likely save time to the unaware artist that is wondering why is noise and masks are not working as expected.
