Are you applying a transform SOP or adding a rotation in the geo node transform?

        Dear all, hello.

Thank you, Dubbie99 for jumping in.
I have double checked your scene, creac, and could approve that if you use the geo node transform options - changes are applied.
The same is happening in V-Ray Next, so there isn't a regression, but we will discuss what could be improved.

          Hello again, creac.

In order to keep the projection & the object rotation together you will need:
          1. Rest Position node before the Transform, like this
          2. Object properties (Common) > Reference Mesh > Mode = Rest Attributes, like this
We have encountered issues on GPU, that's why you will see the difference on CPU if you test it now.
Soon it will be fixed [HOU-3026] to work properly on GPU too.

Thank you for raising the topic.
