  • Husk expecting QT when previously enabled VFB experimental

    Hi,

if you previously enabled the VFB option "Show VFB for Husk" in the rendersettings LOP, but then disable it - it is ignored when saving out the USD for later husk rendering.
In the USD file there is still the flag set to "5" which leads to errors "No qt platform available"...

I am referring to this line in the USD file:

    it is still saying:
    custom int vray:vfb:show_vfb = 5

    but should be after disabling:
    custom int vray:vfb:show_vfb = 0

Could you look into that? Hope it was clear

    Thanks and cheers

We do not write UDS files, Solaris does it, you'll have to figure our why it doesn't write the correct value.

    UPDATE:
Oh, ok I see, this is a fake attribute to trigger showing VFB from "Show VFB" button.
It shouldn't be taken into account for husk for sure.

    UPDATE:
This param is not taken into account if VFB settings are not enabled. Could you pls send me the hip/usd files?
    Is vray:vfb:settings_dir set?
Is vray:vfb:show_in_batch set? It's basically the main control that enabled VFB for husk.
