Because this way, the current houdini/deadline submission workflow should stay valid.

Mois says the license on Deadline Houdini integration is unclear which is stopping him from publishing. Will try to clear up this question.

Custom for submission but running tractor for the management at the moment. Most likely switching to deadline during the spring but don't expect to use their submitters either except for maybe the TOPs/PDG part.

Checked the license situation - seems like we can't publish it, the license is written in a way that doesn't allow that, unfortunately We'll go for some workaround, to publish just our part or how it works.

Mois has posted in the thinkbox forum - https://forums.thinkboxsoftware.com/...itter/30214/31 because he's got no access here yet

glacierise thanks again for sharing your findings. what is it now with the "source available but not open source" issue with deadline. Has this been cleared out?

Not extremely clear to me either but it seems like you can post your contribution but not the whole code? Dunno You should be able to download and test the code from the linked thread.

Yeah, I already did. Mois did help me with some issues and I got something to work. I hope you guys keep sharing this, maybe some sort of github project would even be possible. As far as I understood you are also at the beginning of exploring this. Maybe you could even join forces with GoodbyeKansas on this...

Tested today, it works The output file doesn't get written in the Husk Deadline job though, we'll be fixing that.

Edit: Spoke too soon, there's something wrong, we're working on it
