This maybe be a bit of a weird request but I'm curious if its possible.
The use case is to for example turn off the displacement on when they are in phantom to save memory(we have a alot of heavy character in our shots)
I know its possible with takes but our scenes are really big with a lot of renderlayers and its going to be really messy.
An idea is to create a "renderstate" node which can check if its in a phantom for example and output a value which can be used to switch a shader for example or a value. Maybe there is some other solution for this problem?
Is this just dreaming or is it possible to do it before writing the vrscene?
Regards Alexis
adding a scene which maybe clarifies the scenario a bit
