Many render engines like renderman have filmic tone mapping. I would like that feature for vray in solaris.

Oh wow I had no idea it was available in Solaris, thanks for pointing that out. I though VFB was not available when using Solaris. Ive been trying to get VFB working in solaris. Im not sure if Im setting thing up properly. Are you able to show how?
I can see in the rendersettings > vray > output > VFB > I click show VFB and nothing happens. I checked on show VFB for Husk.
I put down a USD Render ROP, set it to Vray, plug in the render settings. I hit Render to Mplay and then both Mplay and VFB launch. If I re-render, it will open another set of Mplay and VFB. Also, its not interactive, live updating.
Would you be able to point out how to get VFB working in Solaris?

VFB is still quite limited to the way Hydra delegates are working.
You could find VFB related threads in the Solaris forum section.
You need to activate settings name and directory controls where VFB will store/load settings from - those 2 will show you the VFB.
Show VFB button could be used only while viewport rendering is running and VFB was closed to show it up again.
