Render Server/Slave update

I have V-Ray 5.1 for Maya 2018 installed.
If I update to Maya 2022 do I need to reinstall all the render servers/slaves I have installed on render farm computers with no Maya installed?

The workstation and slave machines need to have the same V-Ray build installed. If you match the V-Ray build for Maya 2022 to the one installed on the slaves, there won't be a need for reinstalling.
