  • Vray Dirt invert Normals

This attribute is hidden in the UI now on Vray 5, how can I turn it back on?

Yes, we hid the option. It's still available through Hypershade, though.

Thank you Aleks , I’ll look into it. Is there a good reason why it has been removed? Are people using any new parameters of the new Vray dirt to achieve the same effect?

        Hello !!

I think you can achieve the same result by swapping the Occluded color by UnOccluded color no?

Como estas Carlos?, thank you for your suggestion, I have probably tried that at some point but had already set up some presets and didn't want to dissect the Vraydirt node again , Any new Youtube videos in preparation? (love those)... and Aleks, thanks again but the On and Off is located in the channel box not in the Hypershade. Best regards

damaggio It was hidden because the "Inner occlusion" mode basically does the same thing as "Ambient occlusion" plus "Invert Normals".
