How do I get access to the Vray for Maya nightly builds?
Thanks !
There should be no need to contact support. Just log in with your Chaos account on this link.

Can someone reproduce this?
Arnold, it seems, adds specular to all objects and we're not sure why. The specification isn't clear on whether or not reflections should be added when they're not defined, so in this sense - V-Ray renders the only diffuse color defined on the meshes.
As for the artifacts - we'll have a look at this, thanks for the report.

And a general note on the stable nightlies - the latest builds are our upcoming hotfix where we'll support 2023. As some of you have already found out - it will also support the new bifrost graph to some extent - instances and procedural meshes, for example, will need to be passed through USD to the Maya scene to render with V-Ray (there's a few Bifrost USD nodes that do that when added at the end of the graph).

Let me report this to the relevant team here. Until we fix this, you can use the stable builds (they are based on the same code branch): https://nightlies.chaos.com/#/corwin...e_5.2/20220502

We're looking into the 2023 filter on the website's download section.
Use the nightlies link until we fix that, sorry for the inconvenience. https://nightlies.chaos.com/#/corwin...e_5.2/20220502

It should be fixed now - the downloads should now show a Maya 2023 filter.
