Vray Curvature

Why is the curvature texture not a standard node?
Is there any hidden drawback using the plugin node?

I cant crate the node in Maya Hypershade.
Only with the Vray --> Tools --> Plugin nodes --> texture menue.

Ok true its under utilities in hypershade.
But if i create a node in the Renderelement ExtraTex there are no utility.

Hello not need using plugin

from hypershade just you need plush key TAB and write VRayCurvature hehe or check the image !!
