The plan is to work on it for one of the updates to V-Ray 6, yes.

Hello again!
I've got to do a short video showing a ships capabilities. What is the best way to achieve an ocean environment?
I don't need crashing waves or any simulation (I do have the complete suite that includes Phoenix for Maya though).

Start with the Vray water shader and adjust it for your scene size then remember to save the preset for your library.
