C'mon!, we are desiring "study" the new SP1 features for test it knowing what we are doing!

yeah, how many times have I crashed it now by turning on "spherical harmonics" as the primary engine!? Need some info. What's the diff between portal light and simple portal?

I think portal light takes objects and other things into calculation but simple portal just takes sky information into account. Don't quote me though!

We're still working on the new content and it's almost done.
It will be uploaded to our Spot3d.com web site shortly and will let you know right way.

                Bets regards,

Why is the manual posted under spot3d? It should be on the chaos group website. Really unprofessional in my own opinion. When I go to look for a manual I go to the company website. You are basically confusing things more so by hosting elsewhere.

Thanks for the clearing, Zornitsa. Really we need to know about. Right now this "no documentation" situation means:

For customers side, mean we need waste time doing test learning experimentally.

For ChaosGroup side, means you should be answering all doubts and questions on the forum, losing precious time.

So, we're glad to hear some info about. Thanks again!. I'm pretty sure we gonna get the documentation soon!.

                        Thanks for the touch!.

Edit: Appears still they should publish four pages: VRayFastSSS2, VRay, Texture baking and Settings. Right?

                          Thanks for the update!

I would like to see some more explanation of texture baking in MayaVray.

I still have for study, but some questions and observations:

The VrayMtl documentation: remains incomplete yet, right? (where's exit color!?).

The VrayGeoSun: about Latitude&Longitude, positive values are referred to North & East, and Negative Values are referred to South & West, right?

The VrayGeoSun: about Distance to Target this is the Altitude of the scene or distance from scene to sun (1 UA, astronomical unit, 149.675.000 km)?, in kilometers, in meters?. Or altitude on a place, which makes more sense for the user (i.e. a scene in the top of the Everest should be 8848 in the "Distance to Target" parameter)?
