IES lights

So how do I connect the .IES file to the LightIES? The field in the attributes where is says Ies File has no browse button to locate the .IES file

Yep, I have a button too, but in any case you can just paste the path to the .ies file in the text field.

OK must be a different build I have the nightliy build for Maya 2011 x64

I'm using a nightly build as well; from your screen shot it looks like the AE template for the IES light was not loaded properly for some reason and you see the UI layout that Maya creates automatically. Or it might be that you created the IES light as a V-Ray plugin light.
