  • custom render elements?

    If I wanted to output a render element (i.e a render pass) that is not included in the default list (say output some random channel of a shader) how would I do that?

    You can use the ExtraTex element and pipe custom textures in there, for example.

      Thanks. I see that you can assign an entire shader in the texture slot of the ExtraTex element, but how would I assign one particular attribute within a material to it?

        Unfortunately, right now it is not possible. Out of curiosity, which attributes do you need? We are working an adding the possibility to output any texture node in the shader tree to its own element, not sure if this is what you need though.
