  • release notes of recent nightlies have each entry with no separation inbetween

    Hi,

Not sure if it is only me. I tried to check the release note of recent nightlies, but found that all the entry (bug fixed, features added) in the .txt files got connected. Older release notes are much easier to read where every bug fixed or features are separated into own lines.
    always curious...

Have you changed the text editor you use for viewing? The change log is generated from a Linux machine so it tends to have LF only for line endings rather than CR/LF as on Windows. Notepad++ (to give just one example) is able to handle both kinds of files.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

I simply use the Windows built-in notepad to open the .txt file. I didn't change any setting for viewing. I open both older release note and the newer ones simultaneously with notepad and see that the old ones are much easier to read while the new ones have new line following the last line's end.

I also tried opening with the komodo edit and everything is just fine. Guess it has to do with the text editor like you said.

      Thanks, Vlado.
