  • Vector Displacement ?

    Hi there,

couldn't really find a clear answer to the support of vector displacement.
    - supported for vray maya ?
    - if so, is there a specific vray vector disp attribute to use ?

    thx a lot,

Vector displacement is supported; you need to add the V-Ray displacement control attributes to your shape node and select "Vector" or "Vector (absolute)" as the displacement type.

If you are going to use OpenEXR textures for that, you might also need to turn on the "Allow negative shader colors" option, either in the global V-Ray settings, or for the particular File texture.

    Best regards,
