    Hi Guys,

    i have posted complaints about this behaviour long time ago, but nothing changed Can we please have an option to "Affect Matte Objects" for depthZ and Velocity and every other renderElement that hasn't got the option yet?
    EDIT: It is very important for the "nearest to camera" filtering, that even if there is a sample from a matte object nearer to the camera you do not store it..instead store the nearest sample of the "NON-matted" visible object...

    I would really really greatly appreciate it!

      Just bumping this thread...could anyone please let me know if this is in the works or maybe already include in the latest nightly? I am having lot's of comp hassle because my velocity renderelement is wrong at edges of objects where they get behind a matte object...if you need an exr to see the problem let me know...but i think u already know what i am talking about...
