  • no textures rendered in RT

    Hi,

In our office, we all have the same problem which is that when doing an IPR with Vray RT it does not take the textures into the rendering. When we do an normal rendering it works fine. We are using V-Ray 2.0 for Maya 2011. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    +1

I have had the same issue with RT here, and sometimes it stops refreshing or won't load.

    V-ray 2.0 maya2012 here

If you look at the V-Ray RT server console window what does it say regarding the textures?

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

        Hi Vlado,

I am not sure what it says in the console ( I guess this is the window with the black background), as it does not show up any longer. It did at the beginning, but now it doesn't anymore and I don't know how to open it.
This is what it says in the output window:

        [2011/Dec/15|13:39:29] V-Ray: Exporting scene to V-Ray.

You don't see the console (yes the black window), because you have the vray render slave enabled.
You can disable it by going to the services settings dialog and then disable the VRayMayaSpawnerXXXX (where XXXX is the version of Maya).
Then you can start V-Ray RT again and the console should pop up.
After that you can right click on the console and use the mark menu option.
