  • Vray lights- high and low samples

    Heya

Is there a way/plan to implement the lights samples similar to MR area light?

Where we have high/low/depth. This would help to speed up renders if the detail under window is not so much important and could drop to low samples/etc.

    Thanks, bye.

ps I think I should have posted it in wish list ;s

There are no plans to do this for the moment. V-Ray has a built-in algorithm to determine the appropriate amount of samples for any given value which makes separate high/low samples largely meaningless.

humh so does he automatically lower samples after it passes through glass or something like that? Just trying to understand in what conditions I can expect to see lower values and so on.

      Thanks, bye.

Yes, depending on the glass transparency.

The whole point is to not be able to see them
