Vray embree for maya...

Can anyone help understand how the vrayembree utility is used? When I click it it doesn't really have any attributes to change. Am I suppose to plug it into something? How do I make it work for me?
Please advise.

ya, I tried adding it to my scene but the render time just increased by 2 seconds. hah

Haha. Yeah. Would be nice to know how to hook it up.

It's only available for Windows builds I think, and only for Maya 2013.
