  • PTex vector displacement on subdivisions

    Hi guys,

After battling issues with UVs seams for quite a while, we finally found a way to make PTex vector displacement to work well on subdivided surfaces with deforming meshes. No UVs needed at all!

    Some tests:

It's anyone's guess I can change it, but the current implementation seemed better for cases where you have wrinkles and such. For example, if the model is bending, you'd expect the displacement to squeeze at the bend... I'll try to post some examples later.
