Transfer missing assets is available only in the night builds. You cannot use it in 2.40, sorry.

Just really quickly, does "transfer missing assets" support vrmesh files?

From my own tests it seems this is the case, but I have found that VRayScatter objects that use vrmesh do not transfer automatically.

Is this for R&D iCube to support or is it with Chaos Group?

Yes. Anything that registers assets with the 3ds Max asset tracker should work.

Do you see those .vrmesh files listed in the 3ds Max Asset Tracker?

Ohh, sorry Then it's a VRayScatter thing; it has to declare its assets to V-Ray using the checkAssetPath() function from the V-Ray SDK.

            Best regards,

Is there a nightly build of 2.40 which includes the Transfer Missing Assets feature? My IT support just installed 2.25.01 (Build 23925 from Dec 5 2013, 09:39:56), and I'm just surprised that this feature didn't make it into the official 2.4 release. Maybe there is a 2.4 nightly available that we are overlooking?

It's only in the 2.45 nightlies; it is not in any "stable" build.
