  • Passing Yeti attributes to VRay shaders

    Hi!
I create one attribute and map it as "renderable". It works fine in yeti, but how do I access it to pass it to the v-ray shaders? For example to blend two materials by this attribute.

Have you contacted peregrine labs support? They are usually quick to respond.

      Hi,

There is a discussion on the matter in the yeti forums here http://yeticentral.com/viewtopic.php...start=10#p1103 .

It is not possible to transfer attributes to V-Ray. But have another solution, you can use "shader" node instead "attribute" node, and then use HairSampler outColor attribute.

I think that is precisely what the discussion was all about in that thread. Unfortunately that is the way it works.
