Hey guys, i didn't have time to really test this proper so this question might be simple.
I have an object that is emitting light from all four corners. To simulate this, I initially used a Vray rectangle light with double sided turned on. This worked except for one issue, it left a visible shadow right at the line of the area light. This caused a shadow line all around the objects surrounding it. However, its supposed to be more like a multicolored light bulbs (in a way) surrounding the objects corners so it should not have this area that is missed.
To simulate the effect properly, I switched to vray light material, however, when I do it this way, the scene isn't illuminated. I have to activate GI which increases render time and honestly, I am worried it'll flicker.
Is there something I missed? Do I really need GI for Vray light material to work? Thank you!
