      Thank you for posting what you found. Really useful tips. Hope, as you mentioned in another thread, that Vray scene importer will support the material import feature you requested soon.

        Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your findings. I've got to say that the geometry side of things works superbly, a dream in fact.
        The shader transfer as you mention was a huge dissapointment however. I've been a Maya user for the last couple of decades (good god!) but with only a cursory need/knowledge of Max it's problematic for me to troubleshoot what's coming through and what isn't. Having your investigation is a relief - even as only confirmation
