  • Deadline render - no RGB Denoiser

    Hello,
"Replace RGB element with Denoised result" - works fabulously in Maya when needed.
When I put the scenes out to Deadline farm for standalone however, the result is always without the denoising.

I'm aware we can command line Denoise from elements, but with the bulk of scenes we have to keep track of it would be such a time saver to get the clean results directly. I'm talking of course from VrayStandalone, not DenoiserStandalone.

Is this a possibility ? (I'm hoping I've just missed a flag in the commandline ).

Which V-Ray version and what file format are you saving too?

    Best regards,

Nightly 27151 (though I've been observing this for a while)
      Output as .png usually

Ok, so just to make sure I got it right: you are exporting a .vrscene file from Maya and rendering with the standalone to PNG files?

        Best regards,
        Vlado

            Hi,

the denoised image + lens effects possibly is stored in effectsResult channel. The option "replace RGB" is no longer working, because if we change the RGB channel, we cannot update the effect anymore. We need the original rendered image in RGB color channel. The option name in Maya interface is wrong and we will fix it.

            Best regards,
            Asen

Well good grief, how did I miss that ? Yes, the denoised results, embarrassingly, were all in the "effectsResult" folder.
              I do apologise.
