Unfortunately, this is not designed to work in this way, i.e. you won't get a correct result by substracting the diffuse from the full light select won't give you the correct reflections. The devs are thinking on a way to add support for extracting only the reflection information for example, but this will be added in the future.
As for the buckets - yes, it's a bug and it's related to resumable rendering with Light Cache. I've logged an issue with the devs and I'll let you know when it's fixed. Thanks for the report.
