Hey,
We often use instanced objects in maya that are flipped across one axis via negative scaling as this leads to a much smaller filesize than using duplicated geo. This all renders fine as geo. However, when we export to VRay Proxy for populating other shots all the geo that has a negative scale gets its normals flipped and renders incorrectly in the shots. Is there any way to work around this?
Thanks
