No render settings panel after install??

Just installed Trial NEXT and I am getting this error


"Cannot find procedure "unifiedRenderGlobalsWindow".

Start of trace: (command window: line 1).

unifiedRenderGlobalsWindow (command window: line 1)."

I uninstalled and reinstalled but still no settings panel.

Is this VRay install related?

It might be, I can't really say. Can you copy-paste the error message as it appears in the maya script editor?

Have you tried deleting your Maya old preferences and let the install create a new vanilla one for you? Lot of times the issue is preferences related.

Probably not helpful this, but I recently lost the render settings tabs, when messing around with my maya.env file. So the tabs appeared but there was nothing in them. I think it was due to another plugin not loading correctly and blocking it or something like that. If you have any, try disabling them.

Well I couldn't solve it so the only and quickest way to fix it was to reinstall maya.
