weird artefacts with sky clouds

hi,

pretty new to vray and i played a bit with the prg clear sky and the procedural clouds.
when setting the clouds density to 1, i get strange repetitiv patterns in the clouds, lines going towards the sun center...
is this a known issue?

here a screenshot of this, it gets obvious when cloud density gets more and more toward 1. it seems to be relative to the sun position...
i am using her vray GPU, but it is the same with CPU....

I presume that's simply the pattern getting exposed due to the high density of the clouds. Playing around with the density multiplier, variety, and thickness parameters should mitigate the effect. Note that additional parameters were added in V-Ray 6 for Maya, update 1.
