  • RTX and CUDA not reading custom attributes - VRAY7

I forgot to report this when Vray 7 was in beta but one of builds broke the functionality to read custom attributes from an Alembic file. This was working fine before.
CPU works fine but RTX and GPU does not. Please fix this asap this an important one.

PS it actually does not even render if is using a simple vray material either.

    Thanks

Thanks for the report. Logged it (internal bug-tracker id: VGPU-6744). I'll notify the product owner to prioritize it.

It does, you just need to remove the override and use the new "Force default material" option (it uses the shader applied to the proxy).

Not quite yet. The product owner has assigned it to a dev though.
