Vray seems to ignore the dropoff attribute for the spotlight when it renders.

being a max and maya user i definitely prefer maya. Some of the things are much better in max, but what I personally love is node based system. Cant beat that. Just every time I have to come back to max and deal with mat editor or uv editor which by the way is as old as max 2...just cant have that in year 2010Dmitry Vinnik

hold down control and click in one of the axis, notice that the yellow rectangle in the center will change from view dependent to axis dependent, after which control clicking on the specific axis will restrain the movement to that specific axises. Control clicking back in the center will make the axis move along view dependent again.Dmitry Vinnik
