I am not sure I put this in right section, anyway is it possible to achieve this like carpet using Vray fur or Hair. And if yes can anyone explain? I need this soft look, that I can not achieve using Vray fur.
Thanks!
For the "soft" look you will probably need to make the fur a bit transparent (or map the transparency along the strands). Unfortunately this will also increase the render times a bit.
Well, it can always be worse Also, the hair shader (both in 3ds Max and Maya) has some additional optimizations for GI, which are not present in VRayFur.
