  • 2.0beta: Maya Fluids

    Hi,

just tried to render a small nuke done with fluids.

    render with maya software:

    render with vray:

sorry for the low quality, but the point is that vray interprets the shading somehow different, that you actually can't see very well the fire inside the smoke.

I added the Vray Shade Fluid Quality attribute, but that doesn't give me any additional control for the overall look.
Are there any special shader attributes considered for this ?
What do you suggest and how to deal with Maya fluids inside Vray ?

    thx a lot

I am having the same issue. I am wanting to create an atmosphere on a globe. I have set up a fluid. I added the Extra VRay Attributes but things still don't seem right. The color and more import the size of the fluid sphere are different between MR and VRay.
