    Hi Vlado,

This scene is using a basic intensity 1 Dome light and a V-Ray sun (no sky) without a physical camera.

I have adjusted the global photometric scale to 1 to bring it down.

If I use a grey default material as the base on the ground it to render perfectly fine (no noise, no excessive GI). It's just when I use the exact same material plugged in through a wrapper I get this result. I've used the same shader and network Zdravko previously posted.

Ok then, what is your GI environment override set to (should be black)? Also, what is the map in the dome light (if there is any)?

      Best regards,
      Vlado

        Hi Vlado,

Edit: It is the linear workflow problem in the end. All is fixed with a gamma correct node to the background and "Affect Background" on.

Edit2: Sorry, I'm still having problems. It's working with brute force now but not Irradiance Mapping?

        Irradiance Mapping (Wrong result)

I'm not sure how I've set the scene up wrong.

Make sure that Store with irradiance map option in the dome light is disabled.

            Hi guys,
don't know if is the same issue. Zdravko i downloaded your file and hooked my textures...
Deleted only your vrayRectlight and imported my room Model with my HDRI spherically projected. When i turn GI on to get some light/shadows i get wierd results on the vrayMtlWraper. It seens to affect the colors on the original Plate Projection Texture. When i try to use a VrayRectLight with PORTAL LIGHT selected the vrayMtlWrapper gets wierd too.
            This behavior is normal?

            thanks.
