  • Couple of vray bugs

    Hello,
Two bugs I would like to report:

You can render layer override the resolution, but it seems to not change from layer to layer. What happens is, if I set one layer to be at 1920x1080 and then all layers become that resolution, if I change again at another layer, all layers change.

Another issue is that you can set the open exr output to be 8 bit via mel, but there is no option in the drop down, and I dont know if its intended to be set to that option anyway. Also layer overriding this parameter seems to not work between layers all though i remember it working sometime ago?

    Thanks.

Which build is that? I remember this was supposed to be fixed a while ago.

What is the MEL command? I don't think we support 8-bit OpenEXR files at all.

Which parameter? The OpenEXR depth? In any case, a work-around could be to write a pre-render MEL script to override this at the start of the rendering based on the current render layer.

    Best regards,
