  • surfaceShader's output Matte Opacity broken in Nightlies

    Hi there,

We've been running into some problems with alpha/matte problems when using maya surface shaders on the latest nightlies.

Pictures should explain it really. There's a plane with a tiff attached with an alpha, the alpha is plugged into the transparency and the matte opacity channel of a surface shader.

Can you post the scene too?

    Best regards,

      Hi Vlado,

I've attached a test scene with a red circle with alpha. This renders as expected on the 2.00.04 stable (Fedora 12, Maya 2011) but the matte opacity fails on 2.15.01 (2011-11-29)

      Cheers
      Martin
