    Hi Dmitry
    thanks.

I guess like anyone else, I have issues with Maya once in a while. But with a few exceptions, nothing extraordinary.

The one big exception is that I cant get RT GPU to work, but I think that is unrelated to this (?)

    Maya Autosave? where is that?

I need more testing to check if the crashes are related to maybe distributed rendering or renderlayers.

Is there a more recent Vray Built I coud try?

if you go to maya prefs, files/projects, the autosave is there.

What version of Maya DirkH ?

As on first page, I'm sure AD fixed this problem with SP1 for 2012 and 2013 seems to be rock solid now with V-Ray.
        Maya 2020/2022
        Win 10x64
        Vray 5

We have the same problem where Maya doesn't wake up after the render is done.. It only seems to happen when you use Maya's own renderView to select which camera to render from.

A workaround which seems to work for us most of the time, is to drag a small region in Maya's renderView, just to make the VRay framebuffer render from the currect camera. After that we can render the full image without problem in the framebuffer.

Would it be possible to select which camera to render from inside VRay's framebuffer, so you wouldn't have to use Maya renderView at all?
