  • RT bug ( maybe)

    Hi,

    Here's what I discover today.

I was working on a scene, simple one, and I was using RT. Car, two lights, and a vRay plane.
Everything works as it should until I selected one/any of lights and change any attribute. Vray plane disappears from RT, though it's 100% live and well in the scene. Things go back to normal only if I select vRay plane in the viewport and move/rotate/scale it. Then I undo that, and everything works fine. Until I select and change light again.

Of course, if I use maya's default geometry ( plane) there's no problems at all.

I attached screenshots. I use latest nightly build ( revision 22315) with maya 2013.

    Hope this will be helpful.

    Cheers,

    Dj.

Thanks for the pointer; will fix it. We are doing some optimizations for changing lights and infinite primitives like the V-Ray plane, so it's entirely possible that something went wrong.

      Hi djorzgul,

This issue should be fixed in the next night build, please test and report if there are any new problems with it.
      Thank you for the report.

        Hi,

I just downloaded new nightly build
        Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 2.25.01, revision 22320 from Aug 15 2012, 01:58:41
        V-Ray core version is 2.00.02

And the problem is still here. I mean it's not a big issue since I can just use default maya plane... Or do the scale-unscale trick

          Hi,

You've downloaded the old build, the correct build is rev >=22325.
