as I know - no controlling possible.
In 3D Max it is, but in Maya version not!

U´ve to tune it in Shader Map or such utils...

Blend the normal map with a solid color with value RGB 0.5, 0.5, 1.0 (in floating point).

        Best regards,

Solid color, you mean layered texture tool ?

And how can I make it more bumpy? - is it possible.

          Thanks

            Use a blendcolor node
            Color 1 : RGB 0.5, 0.5, 1.0
Color 2 : your normal map

Connect your blendcolor into the bump of your material.

In the blendcolor, if you set tje blend to 0, you will have your normal map, if you set your blend to 1, you will have no normal map, 0.5, less normal map.

There is no particular reason; it's just not done. I've made a note to look into it.

                  Best regards,
