Alpha VRayMtl Blend problem with domelight

      This is because the Color+Alpha is also set for the Reflection Layer.
      The Reflection Layer always overrides Refraction one - in this case the glass objects reflects the floor/ceiling objects and that's why the alpha channel gets white.
      Here what happens if Affect Channel is set to Color Only for Reflection Layer:

        Btw, if you are only using the V-Ray sky, it might better to not use a dome light at all, just use it as GI environment map.

          Thank you very much Svetlozar, that was really confusing for me. For some reason I thought that if a reflection of ".1" would also mean that the alpha is also ".1" but it seems obviously this isn't the case.

          Btw, if you are only using the V-Ray sky, it might better to not use a dome light at all, just use it as GI environment map.

            It's just the opposite - when the reflection value is 0.1 the alpha value will be 0.9(1-0.1).
