  • baked GI and moving object problem

    Hello

I am facing a problem using the workflow, recommended for attic environments and moving object.
The Gi is baked IR-LC and read from the IR.
The moving character is naturally hidden during baking and has all shaders with "use irradiance map" off.
Nevertheless when rendering I get this nasty artefacts in the GI of the character.
There is a lot of referencing in this scene.
(Only the bear in the middle is moving and gets the artefacts - all the others are baked)

Using Vray 2.4 ond Maya 2013.

Anyone knows that problem and its solution.
    Thanks in advance
    Martin

save your self a trouble and render with brute force gi, or dome light. Enviroment is too simple to make any difference. Otherwise there are too many arguments to trouble shoor you'd have to post a scene.

Or render moving character separately and BG separately...

        Hello
        thanks for your reply
I would really love to master the technique Konstantin Gaytandzhiev shows in this FMX session.
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi5z2fDLG7o
For me it seems more atractive than using full brute force (slow), dome light (lacking light in corners/creases) or layering the scene.
Am I the only one having this problem, because I face it not only in this project but many times before.

I think I did everything exactly as demanded.
Perhaps someone could take my scene and set it up in his way using the mentioned technique.
I really would like to hear it is possible and I just missed one little checkbox.
        Thanks in advance
        Martin
