xgen issues

I currently have 'live mode' ticked in the guide animation. Is this correct? Should I be connected to a cached abc file?

I just turned off live mode, exported the hairsystemoutputcurves to alembic and then connected them up. It seems to be working now... so far anyway

Just looked at the render and there are about 30 hairs on it. Most of the density is gone. It's official- xgen is a nightmare

We really cannot find a solution for you without a sample scene reproducing the problem...

Heh, like I said, it's best to send the scene so we can also look into it.
