  • VrayWater baking and Maya 2015 texture deformer

    Hi,

As I'm not a specialist with texture baking - I wonder if there is a simple and efficient workflow to bake VrayWater to use it with the 2015 texture deformer as a vector map ...

My problem is that right now I'm using VrayWater with displacement but I need to shoot the scene with the camera just above the water and it seems that I'm too close of the displacement, and render starts , Vray throw buckets, but nothing happens after. I've tried to un-tick the "view dependant" but no change.

    Any clue ?

You can just use a plane and render with orthogonal camera.

      Hi Ivaylo,
the vrayWater Disp. is applied to a volume , (If I render a plane I may have deformations once mapped on the volume ?)Click image for larger version
