vray clipper and round edges

  • vray clipper and round edges

    Hello all,

    Im trying to use vray clipper and also round edges, however my highlight flips on the round edge. Has anyone had any success or is this a known limitation. See attached image below

              Yeah just upgraded and still the same issue......

              left is vrayclipper and round corners right is a boolian and round corners

                hmmm has RT and Cuda lost support for vrayclipper in this update too?

                  CUDA only supports the plane clipper. A mesh used as a clipper is not supported yet.

                  As for the other issue you're having - does it help if you enable "consider same object only" for the object that's being clipped?

                    HI Yolov,

                    Thanks for the info re CUDA

                    using "consider same object only" does remove the error from the offending geom, so now i have a half the effect so not ideal.
