Thanks to both of you for the assistance, we were able to reproduce this on our end and one of our developers is already working on it. I'll let you know once we make progress on this.

While we tried to reproduce the problem consistently, I seem to have found one of the possible causes. The problem seems to appear only when more than one frame is rendered on the backburner render node. Therefore setting the task size to 1 for the backburner jobs will avoid the problem, but will render only one frame per task.
We will let you know when we fix this.

Hi Deyan,
thanks for your feedback. This means till you fixed the problem, we can only render one frame per batch script and then the next one? We don't use backburner or any other render manager.
Will the there be a fix in the Nightlies?
Best,
Lars

Hi Lars,
About your question - yes, the problem was observed when using batch rendering. It was visible with backburner, because it uses batch as well. And rendering a single frame per batch script should bypass the problem.
We made a fix and it will be available in tomorrow's nightly builds, and soon in the stable builds as well.
Regards,
Deyan
