  • unsupported render elements for gpu

    Hi,

i was wondering if there was an eta on getting the unsupported render elements fixed for gpu rendering? There are certain useful ones like. glossiness and raw reflection etc that would be great to get sorted.

Raw reflection can be created by dividing the reflection to reflection filter. We will check about glossiness.

yeahs its more of a aid to visualizing in the vfb as opposed to having to do any dividing in photoshop etc, i know theres a way around these things, but i like the quick feedback and use these elements quite a lot.

We will add notes for the glossiness and will think about the raw render elements. I sometimes try to keep the stuff in the GPU render not over complicated, since the GPUs often don't like that ...
        Thanks!

Since we are on the subject of GPU Render Elements,

How would I go about generating the following passes with GPU CUDA rendering:

          - Raw GI
          - Raw Lighting
          - Normals World (object normal in world space)
          - Point World or xyz WPP (object point position in world space)

Thank your very much for you help!

Btw, you can get point world with ExtraTex render element and SamplerInfo texture.
