    On Domestika website there is a great tutorial for this kind of effect where you can get an internal details when using toon line.

    Hi, thanks for posting. I am not sure what details you mean? There are maps slots with the current VRayToon that you can use to add detail.

      The toon effect in arnold can trace from a greeble texture map. When plugged into a ramp you can very the effect.

          Here is a link to best show the effect of edge detection with toon.
          These are 2 clips from the training course which best explain the technique, you can simply skip through the shots to get the gist of the technique. of edge detection from texture files with toon.

              Yes it can! I was using a black and white image which didnt work it had to be colour.
